Robert Fischer, Chessplayer, Hospitalized
He doesn't like to be called "Bobby." I was visiting Susan Polgar's chess blog and saw a post about Fischer being hospitalized. Did a quick Google search and the first thing that popped up with Mig's post at his Daily Dirt chess blog about the subject.
It seems that Fischer has been hospitalized for some undisclosed physical ailment (ceased walking and put on a lot of weight in a short of period of time, sounds like out of control diabetes???) - for at least a week, quite possibly more. That's all I will deduce from the reports (all in Spanish). So why in Spanish? Fischer lives in Iceland now, so why aren't there any reports out of Iceland? Maybe I'll put this in my "hmmmmm" category.
