Murali Krishnan and FIDE Master V. Vishnu Prasanna emerged joint winners in the P.K.V. Memorial all-India FIDE-rated chess tournament which concluded in Thodupuzha on Tuesday. The two were tied at 7.5 points at the end of the nine-round event and the progressive scores were also equal at 39. With P. Shyam Nikhil and P. Phoobalan taking the third and fourth places, the Tamil Nadu players took the top four positions in the tournament. On 5th place (out of 201 players), and as top woman of the competition, is WIM Kiran Manisha Mohanty.
