Southwest Chess Club: Upcoming Action!
OCTOBER 22, 2009:
Spook House Action II
3-Round Swiss: Game/29 Minutes and Game/30 Minutes. USCF Rated. EF: $5. (½-Point Bye available for only first round if requested prior to round) TD is Becker; ATD is Fogec
A one-night tournament, with 3 rounds on October 22nd.
You have the option of either:
Game in 30 minutes (which is Regular-rated and Action-rated), or Game in 29 minutes (which only affects your Action rating, not your Regular rating). Several strong players are already interested in both sections, so come on out!
For G/30, clocks are set at 25 minutes with a 5-second delay, and for G/29, clocks are at 24 minutes with a 5-second delay.
OCTOBER 29 AND NOVEMBER 5, 12, AND 19, 2009:
Halloween Spook Swiss
4-Round Swiss in Two Sections (Open and Under-1600). Game/100 minutes. USCF Rated. EF: $5. (One ½-Point Bye Available for any round (except round four) if requested at least 2-days prior to round). TD is Grochowski; ATD is Fogec.

Thursday events are held at St. James Catholic Church in the lower level of the Parish Center building (immediately in frontof the church). The address is 7219 South 27th Street in Franklin. Parking in rear, enter through south door. Hours: 6-11p.m.
Thursday tournament Registration: 6- 6:55 p.m. Games begin at 7 p.m.
