As you can see, decisive games all around! These ladies ain't fooling around. An expenses-paid trip to the Women's World Championship is on the line. Ladies' games in PGN at the end of this post.

The gift bags that Mrs. Dumont so kindly assembled for us and got delivered to the playing venue:
Well darlings, probably no dude is interested in our gift bags, but they are a big thing for the ladies. Thank you so much, Mrs. Dumont and volunteers for giving your time to put everything together for us and getting the bags delivered to the playing venue, they turned out fabulously!

The playing venue -- at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal.
This is a sculpture of baseball Hall-of-Famer Jackie Robinson, who played for the Montreal
Royals in the 1940's before he became the first black man to play for a major league baseball
team in the United States in the 1950's. I did not know he had played baseball in Canada before
he played in the U.S. Just goes to show - you learn something new every day! Taken
outside the playing venue. |
