Blockbuster Story: Partial Remains of Queen Ketevan of Kakheti Possibly Identified

Holy Mother Hathor!  Well, I guess I won't just automatically dismiss as "myths" stories about relics of martyrs and saints being stashed away at this church or that monastary anymore... Too bad it took so long for this news to be published, seeing as the remains were recovered in 2004!  I first wrote about this discovery way back in April, 2009!

DNA analysis has confirmed that a relic discovered by archaeologists amongst the ruins of St. Augustine’s Church in Goa, southeast India, is likely to be that of 17th century Queen Ketevan from the Kingdom of Kakheti in eastern Georgia.
