Panamerican Girls Chess Championship

Held in Cali (where is Cali, exactly?) May 10 - 15, 2008. WFM Cori Deysi won the event with 7.5/9. She came to my attention last month by her performance in the Benidorm Open (April 25 - May 4, 2008), finishing in 23rd place (tied with 16 other players) with 7.0/10, the top female finisher out of 198 players. Here are the final standings: Rk. Name FED Rtg Pts.
