Now this is one clever idea from one of the "decorating/crafting" blogs I've been devouring lately that fits in perfectly with Goddesschess and our attachment to ancient games:

From Domino-games, we learn that "Dominoes are believed to have originated in China (see Chinese Dominoes) in the 12th century, though Egyptian or Arabian origins are also theorized."
